Produced in October 2009, this oil painting is inspired from The Book of Matthew 4 in the Bible. The Temptation shows an abstract image of Jesus being tempted by the devil. The devil is depicted as a green creature having the head of a cobra. Jesus is shown as a Sun, and has a question mark on his robe which represents a question that each of us needs to ask ourselves when we are tempted by the devil, and that is “what am I going to do?” Am I going to give up, and join in with the devil, or do I resist as The Son of God did.
