The Perfect Gift Again

December 2010 – Inspired by The Book of Luke 1. The inspiration for The Gift is from The Book of Luke chapter 1. The painting shows an abstract cubism image of The Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary, Mother of Jesus, for the first time. The Holy Spirit was upon her and a miraculous conception was generated in her body. God gave His Son to us and allowed Him to come to Earth to show us the way to be. Gabriel, The Angel of The Lord, announced to Mary that God is going to place the Seed of His Son Jesus inside of her womb. Christ is shown as a star on the face of Mary and also shown placed in her womb. The flower is shown on Mary as a representation of her own flower that was never touched until after the birth of Jesus, The Gift.
