Inspiration from The Holy Bible; Matthew 2:9-12 and 2 Timothy 1:6
The Wise One’s is an abstract cubist oil painting about the Three Wise Men that went to
see The Messiah after His birth in Bethlehem. They gave Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense
and myrrh. The Wise Men were obedient unto the Lord and brought gifts to His Son. Lift up
your hands unto the Lord, and lift up your eyes!
To fully receive spiritual gifts you must die to self. Black represents the death of self. The
wave pattern represents the roller coaster of emotions that takes place when our flesh is
being crucified. You must fully listen to the Lord and know the Will of God during this
process.
The green represents jealousy. Jealousy strangles the gifts from God; jealousy holds back the Spiritual Gifts from God to operate in your life, and will keep everything good that is due to you.
Grey represents uncertainty. You must overcome uncertainty when you die to self, and know The Word of God. They grey at the top is the cloud of uncertainty that glooms over everything when it consumes you as you ponder and try to reason within yourself and try to figure things out on your own and don’t fully lean on the Lord and give it all to Him to handle for you.
The turquoise represents the Rivers of God. The cloud of uncertainty must be removed and washed away as it rains, so the Rivers of God can fill you up and flow, and then reveal The Glory of God, which is represented as yellow.
The white represents the Holy Spirit and the purification process that assures us that all things work together for good, In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
